Redondo Junction flyover, shown during August 2001 dedication ceremony in Los Angeles, carries passenger trains over freight rail lines, surface streets and the Los Angeles River on a bridge more than 800 yards long. It is the largest component of the Alameda Corridor's North End.

The Mid-Corridor Trench stretches for 10 miles along Alameda Street between State Route 91 in Compton and 25th Street in Los Angeles. The signature element of the Alameda Corridor, it is 33 feet deep and 50 feet wide.

The Henry Ford Avenue Grade Separation in the Wilmington area of Los Angeles, shown during construction, carries freight rail traffic over surface streets and the Dominguez Channel on a bridge more than a mile long. It is the largest component of the Alameda Corridor's South End.
